In the 40s Professor Dalmasso created “Albarossa”, a varietal blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera. This autochthonous varietal will be rediscovered and planted 50
years later thanks to the commitment of some winemakers as well as Research Institutes. In the 90s, the Cossetti Family chose “Albarossa” to be planted in their new vineyards.Tradition, territory and experimentation are the soul of this wine. Intense ruby red colour with purple reflections, clean and ample bouquet with scents of red fruits and light spices. Full-bodied and fleshy palate, with good structure and softness.
