Nestling in the midst of the small winegrowing village of Krustetten the Müller winery is already visible from afar. The newly built modern winery has a cosy wine tasting "stüberl" offering panoramic views over the roofs of the village. From here you can enjoy a stunning outlook over Stift Göttweig, the Danube and the best vineyards of Kremstal. Here Leopold Müller creates his distinctively fruity and clear white wines with loving attention and a great deal of hard work. He pays particular attention to his fruity Grüner Veltliner which is so characteristic of this variety and grows in the best vineyards of southern Kremstal. The influence of the Danube and the deep loamy and loess soils and the warm gravel soils support his work in the 70 ha of vineyards under his cultivation and enable him to make wines of widely varying characters, from the fresh, fruity Grüner Veltliner to the mature Riesling with its subtle mineral notes. Their wines range from the fresh and fruity Grüner Veltliner and the full-bodied Riesling with its mineral notes to the well-rounded, subtly spicy red wines, but a little difficult to pronounce such as Zweigelt. They also have a wonderful ice wine and a fabulous chardonnay and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc).
