Named after the historic Saint Maur vineyard, which is located in the heart of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, this Sauvignon Blanc reflects the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard’s stony soils and cool climate provide optimal conditions for growing Sauvignon Blanc grapes with vibrant flavours and crisp acidity.

The grapes were handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly into concrete egg tank and seasoned clayamphora for wild fermentation. The wine was then aged on full yeast lees for 10 months and stirred regularly with a small portion going through malo-lactic fermentation. Unfinedand unfiltered.

With its pale straw colour and hints of green, Two Rivers ‘Saint Maur’ Sauvignon Blanc is visually striking. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of tropical fruits, citrus, and fresh herbs, with subtle floral notes adding to its complexity.

On the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc delights with its lively acidity and mouthwatering flavours of passionfruit, grapefruit, and gooseberry. A complex and thoughtful Sauvignon Blanc. The wild fermentation and extended lees contact adds breadth and texture. The wine’s bright acidity and long, refreshing finish make it an ideal companion for a variety of dishes.
