Tasting Notes

Stuning Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from Dave Clouston owner of Two Rivers and Black Cottage. This complex and delicious example of classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is bright and fresh, but with a persistence of flavors that puts it a cut above the rest. A bouquet of white peach, gooseberry, fresh cut grass, and a touch of pineapple are followed on the palate by clean flavors of passionfruit, lychee, and lime. A slightly steely and herbal finish continues for much longer than expected.
